We gladly answer general questions and communications by electronic mail;
however, we cannot respond to specific medical questions due to patient

Telecare/TeleNurse

Registered nurses are available 24 hours, 7 days a week and on holidays to answer medical advice questions. This service is provided to increase veteran access to healthcare advice and education and to help the patient avoid unnecessary hospital or clinic visits. During regular business hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, Telecare is also able to assist in making changes to primary care clinic appointments.

Parking Designations

Three parking lots are available - one to the north of the Clinic and two to the east of the Clinic across the street. Street parking is also available.

Security

VA North Texas has a Police Service. Our officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 26080. A contract service will assist you. In case of an emergency, dial 911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses while on the facility grounds to the VA Police as soon as possible.

Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.

Smoking Policy

The Clinic is a smoke free facility. Smoking locations are available adjacent to the facility.

Pay phones are conveniently located at both the main entrance and north entrance.
