Our pharmacy processes more than 6,000 prescriptions daily. Many of these prescriptions are filled by the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). Our goal is to provide cost effective services an accurate and timely manner to Veterans.

Prescription Refills

Prescription refills should be requested two weeks before running out of the medication. No refills are allowed at the outpatient pharmacy window. Refills may be requested several ways:


An automated refill line is available for all patients. Please call 1-888-364-5227, Option 1. Follow these steps:

  1. After you dial the number, wait for an automated attendant to answer.
  2. Enter your social security number and then press the # key. Wait for an answer.
  3. Press 2 and then wait for an answer.
  4. Press 1 and then wait for an answer.
  5. Enter the prescription number and then press the # key. Wait for an answer.
  6. To refill additional prescriptions, press 1 and repeat the process.


Prescriptions refills may be requested online using My HealtheVet. You will need a user id and password to log in. If you do not have an account, you can register online at My HealtheVet. Call the My HealtheVet Coordinator, Cathrine England, at 214-857-1721 if you need assistance.

All of the above services, except for the inpatient pharmacy in Dallas are closed on all Federal holidays. The inpatient pharmacy is for hospitalized Veterans only and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
