Are you a Veteran or know one that needs health care? Are you enrolled in the VA system?  Do you know what services are available through VA? Has it been a while since you’ve been to the VA? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then it may be time to learn more about VA North Texas Health Care System.

Some of the primary care services available include treatment for chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, COPD and high cholesterol.  Maintaining good health as well as early detection of diseases is important in developing effective treatment plans.  Programs and services offered for weight control/obesity, smoking cessation, vaccinations, cancer screening and prostate screening are effective tools to increase individual awareness of health conditions and if certain symptoms should be monitored more closely. Podiatry services are available as well as referrals to other specialty clinics.

VA North Texas also provides services for women, including pelvic and breast exams, pap smears, mammography and bone density evaluations.

VA North Texas Health Care System stands ready to meet your health care needs and to provide the tools to improve your quality of life.
