As a major educational resource providing clinical and administrative training in a broad range of health care professions and occupations, VANTHCS is a teaching hospital and enjoys strong academic affiliations with several, well-known educational institutions including:

Residency Programs

Before a VANTHCS rotation, your academic institution must contact the VANTHCS Education Office at 214-857-1164 to determine whether an affiliation agreement exists or must be established. An affiliation agreement is a legally binding document serving as the foundation for the educational contract between VANTHCS and sponsoring academic institutions.

Application Process

Prior to a VANTHCS rotation, all residents, fellows, medical students, and associated health trainees must successfully complete the VANTHCS Trainee Application Process and be fingerprinted. Your clinical rotation will not be authorized until all required documentation is received, reviewed, and approved.

Submit the required documents (available at the links below) to the appropriate VANTHCS Program Coordinator at least 6 weeks before your first rotation date.

After completion of your VANTHCS clinical rotation, we ask you complete the Learners' Perception Survey
