  • New Ft. Worth VA Pharmacy Check-In Process

When presenting to the pharmacy, all veterans will need to check-in via the kiosks located in the pharmacy waiting area. Upon checking in and receiving a kiosk ticket, veterans will be alerted and directed into one of the available pharmacy rooms for consultation with a pharmacist.

After being consulted by a pharmacist, veterans will be instructed to wait in the pharmacy area for the completion of their prescription for window pickup.

  • The pharmacy will resume normal hours of operation as shown below:

            Monday-Friday: 8:00AM-4:30 PM

            Saturday-Sunday: Closed

  • Care in the Community Prescriptions
Care in the Community prescriptions can be faxed to (817) 730-0148. Any care in the community prescriptions requiring window pickup will be processed for window pickup at the Dallas VA Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy. These prescriptions will NOT be available for window pickup at the Ft. Worth VA Outpatient Pharmacy. For any care in the community pharmacy questions, please call (817) 730-0165.

    Veterans new to VA North Texas Health Care System need a copy of their DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) for enrollment. Obtain a copy from the National Archives and Records Administration.
