Chaplain Service

Patient-centered pastoral care and spiritual support services are provided for inpatient and outpatient Veterans in Dallas, Bonham and Fort Worth.

Ministry efforts include:

  • Advance Directive counseling
  • Crisis Ministry
  • Pastoral visitation
  • Pre-operative visits
  • Family ministries
  • Worship opportunities
  • Spiritual end-of-life counseling
  • Bereavement counseling
  • Quarterly memorial services

Additionally, Chaplain Service provides care for Veterans through program administration, community relations and professional education for Veterans and staff. Along with efforts with the Critical Incident Team, Chaplain Service strives to provide pastoral care that expresses the redeeming love of God to persons facing the existential realities of human existence.
