VA coordinates care to make it convenient for Veterans.

Friday, January 25, 2013

Coordination of care involves planning and accomplishing multiple appointments on the same day, at the same location. That way, you don't have to come back on another occasion. It saves time and money. Coordination of care also helps with the frustration of waiting to get certain things done in order to receive a diagnosis, like lab work or X-rays.

A typical visit to one of our facilities like Dallas, Bonham or Fort Worth might include:

  • Primary Care
  • X-rays
  • Lab work
  • Pharmacy

You may also be able to see a specialist or get an eye exam, if an appointment is available on the same day.

We know your time is valuable and we understand your needs. Time is something you can never have back, once it's lost. That's why we have a system of coordinated care in place to serve you. The next time you make an appointment, ask about coordination of care so you can get everything you need in one day.
