Kanika Bhandari is currently a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Bhandari attended The University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies before matriculating into The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2019. Her practice interests include infectious disease, internal medicine, and critical care. Dr. Bhandari is currently a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with friends, and working out.

Caitlin Burton is currently a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Angelo State University and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Abilene. Her practice interests include mental health, geriatrics, and research. She is currently a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), and Rho Chi. In her free time, Dr. Burton likes to read science fiction novels, work on her embroidery projects, and spend time with her dachshund, Emmy.

Chinedu Diokpa is a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Diokpa completed his undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin, and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy. His practice interests include ambulatory care and mental health. He is a member of American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. During his free time, Dr. Diokpa enjoys listening to podcasts, spending time with friends and family, and creating/listening to music.

Shaina Varughese is currently a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Dallas Texas. Dr. Varughese received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biology from the University of Florida and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from South University School of Pharmacy. Her practice interests include internal medicine and mental health. She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Rho Chi Honor Society and Phi Lambda Sigma Honor Society. During her free time, Dr. Varughese enjoys exploring the Dallas-Fort Worth area and spending time with friends and family.

PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident

Kaitlyn Jones is currently a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Jones received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Her practice interests include primary care, spinal cord injury, and mental health within the ambulatory care setting.  Dr. Jones is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP), and Rho Chi Honor Society.  During her free time, Dr. Jones enjoys watching movies at the theater, painting, listening to podcasts, and exploring the Dallas area.

Madison Lempp is currently a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, TX. Dr. Lempp also completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the VA North Texas Health Care System. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Lempp is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and Rho Chi. During her free time, she enjoys collecting plants, completing DIY projects, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Dylan, daughter, Adalynn, friends, and dog, Nyssa.

Charlene Kalani is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Kalani grew up in Findlay, Ohio and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Corpus Christi Medical Center. Stephanie Smith is a PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Smith received her B.S. in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and her PharmD from Texas A&M University College of Pharmacy.  She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP), American Pharmacist Association (APhA), and Phi Lambda Sigma Honor Society.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching Texas football. 

Dozie Dike, Pharm.D.

PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Resident

Dozie Dike is currently a PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Dike received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the VA North Texas Health Care System. His professional interest includes psychiatry, particularly outpatient. Dr. Dike is a member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), Phi Delta Chi and Phi Lambda Sigma Honor Society. During his free time, Dr. Dike enjoys weightlifting, listening to ESPN and YouTube podcasts, and watching movies.

Lydia Feighner is a PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Resident at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Feighner grew up in Kansas City, and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Kansas School of Pharmacy in 2018. After graduation, she completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. Her current practice interests include mental illness and substance abuse. Dr. Feighner is currently a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (DFW-ACCP), Rho Chi Honor Society, and Phi Lambda Sigma Honor Society. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, eating queso and spending time with family and friends.
